Underfloor Heating Repairs

Most breakdown are caused by faulty pumps, blending valves, actuators, flow gauges being blocked or broken, broken thermostat and faulty wiring, very rarely is there a problem with pipework below ground.

  • Visual Inspection of all exposed pipework and manifold

  • Check correct operation of pump, blending valve, actuators and flow gauges.

  • Test the Thermostat: Verify that the thermostat is operating correctly. Check the temperature readings and ensure that it is accurately controlling the heating system.

  • Verify Zoning and Controls: If your underfloor heating system has zoning capabilities, ensure that the zones are correctly set up and functioning as desired.

  • Water quality test the System: Take water sample and verify that the system has the correct inhibitor. Find link for process of water testing here.

  • Use thermal imaging camera to ensure all zones are circulating correctly

  • Regular servicing and maintenance will not only extend the lifespan of your underfloor heating system but also help you save on energy bills and prevent costly repairs in the future.
